Sheepskin Boot Story

The sheepskin boot evolved in the early 1900’s in New Zealand and Australia when farmers would wrap their feet in sheepskin to keep warm.

During World War I, aviator pilot heroes from down-under wore fleece-lined boots when dog-fighting in the non-pressurised planes at high altitudes.

Finally, in the late 1960’s the bronzed gods of surf pulled on their homemade sheepskin boots when emerging from the sea. The trend was set and everyone wanted in on it.
